Default TT Reliability?

Looking to buy at 2000-2004 TT. Is there a particular year I should avoid? Also, are they reliable? Any particular features I should avoid? I've just started my research so any insight would be greatful. Thanks.

Default RE: TT Reliability?

All model years are about the same reliabiltiy wise. As far as options go. Quattros a given. Its an audi after all. Ive seen two of the 6 speed trannys go but thats out of hundreds of cars. Id stay away from the auto. The roadsters seem to have more rattles than the coupes but either way it seems like theres almost always a noise or two in these things. Common failures-Coolant temp sensor, front sway bar bushings, instrument clusters (expensive), and fuel sending units.
