I have an older model turbo timer that was given to me. I recently purchased my first performance car with a turbo, the B5 A4. My question is, What does the turbo timer do & How do I install it. Thanks in advance for your help.

 

A turbo timer keeps the engine running a certain amount of time after the key is turned off so the turbo can cool down. You would have to splice into the ignition wires to install it.

 

I suppose this is used to prolong the life of the turbo, and no performance value. Sounds like a pain in the butt. Do you have experience installing? Thanks for the help.
