We own a 2009 A4 Cab, and recently noticed that when we open the trunk water rushes out from behind the trim panel. A fair amount of water..... and clearly some type of leak.
As you would expect now the left tail light has failed. Is this a clogged drain or should I focus on the third eye taillight?
I also had this issue with a 2004 A8 that I owned. Factory techs had one hell of a time getting it to stop leaking.

Any fix found for water in your trunk lid? I have the same issue and cannot find the leak.

No, I was never able to solve. Drove me crazy nuts and we traded it in.
