What causes codes p1883 and p1892?
1998 Audi a4 Quattro Automatic 2.8l V6.
My sister was driving it down the road doing about 55mph when it decided to downshift on its own, and continue to slow down even though she had the gas pedal to the floor. It dropped down to about 10mph, then it just shut off completely. She said it didn't backfire or sputter, it sounded nice and smooth until it shut down. When you try to start it, it will crank over forever but it never sounds like it even tries to start. I towed it home and checked the codes, it has p1338 and p1392. The timing belt looks nice and tight with no signs of damage.
