What OBD reader for 1996 a4 avant
hi, just trying to find out what OBD reader and cable connection I need to read my cars diagnostics. I friend lent me his OBD but the socket will not fit. And can anyone recommend a decent one, that does not cost the earth. I was hoping there would be more Andriod solutions which would be awesome, I have seen a clip on You tube of one, and it can read as you drive.

Vagcom, aka VCDS. download the shareware version free at Ross-Tech: Home and buy a USB-OBDII cable for $20-25 on eBay.
