WHERE IS IMOBILIZER CHIP

Default WHERE IS IMOBILIZER CHIP

I HAVE AN AUDI A3 2.0TDI 2004 IMPORTED FROM GERMANY SO THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER READS IN GERMAN AND IN KMPH, I NEED IT TO READ IN ENGLISH AND MPH. I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT IF I GET A SET OF UK CLOCKS I CAN JUST TAKE THE IMOBILIZER CHIP FROM THE GERMAN CLOCKS AND FIT IT IN THE UK CLOCKS, PROLEM IS I DON'T KNOW WHICH CHIP IT IS, CAN ANYONE HELP ME!!! I MAY ALSO NEED TO KNOW WHICH CHIP IS THE CHASSIS CODED CHIP.

key chip and pin, the chip is in the key the receiver is in the ignition barrel then its linked to the ECU

Avant forgot to mention that IF YOU TYPE IN ALL CAPS IT COMES ACROSS AS IF YOU'RE YELLING AT US!!! We don't like to be yelled at... Caps Lock, just above the shift key, left side of teh keyboard

The cluster can be recoded to be in english instead of german. As for the metric vs english, i think you would need a new cluster. As long as its capable of the imobilizer function you should be able to program it to your vehicle.
