Whistling from flywheel/clutch
Cheers sincity. I have purchased a Boost Control Valve. Is this needed? I can probably take it back. To be honest I had no clue where it was to be fitted anyways. I will pick up a positive crankcase ventilation valve today, along with the turbo vent valve line. Hopefully I can spot this a little more easily.
Cheers again

Ok ive ordered the engine block breather but the turbo vent valve line is a part that teo of the distributors cant get hold of. If its easy enough i may as well change the boost control valve ( if i can find the mother!)
It's not the easiest part to replace due to the location and the ear clamps that are used to secure the lines to the boost control solenoid... They don't go bad that often on the B7 A4's... I would return it if possible.. I will try to get you the part number for the turbo vent hose so you can try to cross reference it somewhere
Just want to let you know, that it was indeed the Engine Block Breather. It took me 5 minutes to change and the whistling has stopped.
Ecstatic! Thanks for all your help Sincity.
I'll be back no doubt in the future.
