any help greatly appreciated as she is banging on about this and i think it's about time i sorted it for her. It is a 1996 1.9tdi and runs smooth as you like, but sometimes when starting (generally from cold) it will run for a split second then stop, will maybe do thistwo orthree times before running without stopping. Doesn't run lumpy when it starts or kick out big clouds of smoke. thought it might be the key but have tried using the spare and that's the same. Please help a man out or i'm going to need new ear plugs, cheers.
