I have the symphony stereo with tape/cd and i was wondering if there is a way to wire my XM into the back of the stereo rather than using a crappy cassette. Also.. my reception sucks, i don’t know if it is from the tape connection, but is there a way to boost xm signal?

Try the Fm modulator that they sell and tuck it somewhere behind the dash or in the center console. You will have amazing reception after that.
