2.8 Exhaust (I've Researched)

Default 2.8 Exhaust (I've Researched)

Hey all, my oem exhaust is rusting/cracking so I need to replace it. From what I've found the best way to go about this is to have a shop make a custom exhaust. It looks like 2.5" seems to be the pipe size to use correct? Also what muffler would you suggest. I'm a poor college student so I can't go all out. I want something that sounds good but not too loud and also looks good. Any suggestions?

Have a shop fab up the piping where it's needed (keep the resonator if you don't want to sound like a misfiring garbage truck), and use a Magnaflow 14816 muffler. They really sound nice. Here's a couple sound clips/videos:

yeah im purchasing one of those magnaflows ina few days ill show you guys when its done
