Hello Audi Forums. I am a new member and need some help.

I have a 2012 Audi A6 with a 3.0 liter engine. I purchased it 1 year ago (July...Brand new)

I recently changed out the stock air filter with a K&N air filter.

I pulled the air intake box out and saw that there is a secondary breather hose connected to the very bottom of the air box, but the far end of the hose was not connected to anything in my engine compartment such as an air pump. It is basically just hanging at the bottom of my engine compartment.

I have taken it to multiple independent Audi shops/tuners and no one knows where it connects to. They say that my car is too new so they have no idea.

I went online and looked at diagrams of the entire air intake system for my car and this secondary breather hose is not in any of the diagrams.

Does anyone have any ideas? I don't want to bring it to the Audi Dealer.
