my breather hose broke its gonna cost 90 at the dealer for a new one i replaced with another hose i bought at auto part place is it safe do leave that on there

 

i take it you just replaced the broken section with a length of hose.it may work for now but being that it's ribbed,you may have leakage.if you can,wrap it with electrical tape till you get onto a smooth section,and make sure no broken pieces made it into the tube,best to vacuum the tube lightly.
