Cool awaiting the new testpipe... SO EXCITE, YES

Lol. So excuse the borat 1 liner there. I got confirmation today that my 3" test pipe from ecodetuning was shipped out yesterday and will be at my door tomorrow (i paid for 2 day shipping) i had to put a new downpipe on and a new head on anyways to fix damages done by the previous owner, and the cat was worst for wear so i decided to throw on a testpipe as my first performance mod, considering its such a pita do do it on its own. next will come intake, then a new bov/dv and then maybe the rest of the exhaust. I have the nonfoulers ready to go and the old bolts came out real easy.. so i have spares in case something strange happens to the new ones coming with the pipe. Pics (before and after) will be posted when it's on the road again. Is the gains (and sound) as impressive as i read... 15-20hp and 30-50 ft-tq??

you realize that is chp which will net you absolutly 0 whp... you might feel a little bit of the tq or car might feel livelier than it would of due to the free'er flow...... it will have a little more sound but if you are on completely stock exhaust there won't be alot of sound.... but good luck

also, stay with the stock airbox... maybe do the a/b mod(drill holes)... don't do a bov until you have more power just get a nice dv... would also look into a tune... maybe get rid of your mid muffler(resonator)

Why stay with stock airbox? Its too restrictive i can see that i was planning on a heat shield(found one just can't remember the site.) Then going to use a cone filter and a maf relocation pipe since i'm not comfortable using preset maf settings. I plan on swapping out the enTire exhaust but thats easy and i haven't decided on what system i like. The div/bov i was looking into was a hybrid. So i can still get the ecu required recirculation with a little fun atmospheric it really all depends on how everything sounds after the intake change.

the stock airbox has been good up to about 400awhp(iirc).... i would be running mine but even though i am just running an elim with the euro rs4 headlights i am running it pushes the tip to where i can't
