my bad i read 01.... i am used to being in the b5 section.....


and ebay doesn't sell many quality parts, and an exhaust system isn't something i would want to chance on ebay... get a couple of good mufflers and take them to a shop and have them welded on... if you want deep sound, have them take the resinator(s) out

I am new to the forum. My father owns an 04 a4 and im in the process of making a deal on an 02 A4. Its the 1.8t, and I would like to make some simple inexpensive modification to the car. Ive heard STR-4's with blow off valves and they sound awesome, but i heard there are lots of cons to them too. Would you recommend one. Also I would like to swap out just the mufflers would you go with magnaflows or borlas?

bov's won't kill your car, but if you have not power adder's don't do it.... as for muffler, it is your taste, search the forums youtube, wherever to hear different exhaust systems

 

If you really really want a BOV just buy a hybrid that is 50/50 or allows you to adjust how much it blows off and how much it returns.

 

Guys, also I searched K&N for any intake kit, but they said there were no matches. Do you know where i could get a good cold air intake kit for under $250? Also how much are these hybrid BOVs?
