Default Catalytic Converter installation

I have a CEL, catalytic system below threshold, bank 1. My catalytic converters have gone bad. Im past the 80000 mile mark for the federal government warranty. Im looking online for stuff that will pass the NY state inspection. Ive found the cat itself, and the O2 sensors, im just worried about this being something one could do on my own. Im not a car mechanic, but im a Navy mechanic, so im good with tools and how stuff works, but I dont want to get in over my head. Let me know if you have any suggestions, or more parts that I will need. By the way, my car is an '03 A4 1.8T Quattro.

u can order universal ones if u want, as long as theyre obdII compatible youll be okay. if they dont have an o2 bung, most muffler shops can weld that on
