exhaust for audi a6 2.7t tiptronic

Default exhaust for audi a6 2.7t tiptronic

hey guys im new to this site and i have a black 2002 audi a6 2.7t tiptronic and am looking for an exhaust system. I called stratmosphere and auto addictions (i live in allentown pa), and they both said that they only had a catback dual from milltek sports available for 2,000 or 1500 on sale. Does anyone know of a place i can get a cheaper one or a diff. exhaust for the model. thanks

i just did one for my friend, oh man thats a pain and a half... but posible. we made 3" downpipes and cut outs ...

I have Remus axle back, then strait pipes from an exhaust shop from the cats to the mufflers. IMO, it sounds amazing, I can send you a vid if you are interested. Also LLtek makes a 2.7 system, never heard it though. You could aslo go magnaflow universals with custon piping. lots of options.

i have a 2001 a6 2.7t tip, and i recently bought stainless stright piping 2.5" and a 180 degree bend piece 2.5" to cut in half for 2 90 degree bends for the tips that tuck up in behind the bumber, figured not to waste the money since noone will see them, then i also bought 2 magnaflow mufflers for 55$ a piece of ebay (2.5" diamter holes 14"long and i believe it is 4 inches around. the part number is 10416) . sounds amazing. i used the 2.5" straight from the cat back with the 2 mufflers, and the 90 degree bends for the tips. nothing but compliments since i put it on. i think the piping was the most expensive thing which i think ran 70 bucks per 4 foot section for good stainless

Replace the resonator with straight pipes to magnaflow #10415 Mufflers if you want a cheap but good sounding approach.
