Default High Flow Cat recommendations

So Ive been looking for a new high flow cat over the past few days. First I was thinking catless downpipe, or even test pipe, but dont want to deal with the CEL. Ive narrowed it down to basically either a Labree HFC, or a 034 motorsport unit. Does anyone have either of these, or maybe someone can recommend another one that I have missed. Thanks!

This is a little dated, but may provide some brand alternatives, even though it is aimed at the S4 owner.

Supersprint is not mentioned in the above, but it should be. This Italian manufacturer is one of the best in the business and THEY MAKE A DOWNPIPE W/METALLIC CAT FOR YOUR A4 1.8. Should be no CEL issues. Go here:
https://www.supersprintna.com/catego...ategory_id/139

Supersprint just had a very big price increase, but they WILL HONOR THE OLD PRICES UNTIL JUNE 10, 2009. The site only shows the new, higher, prices and you have to call to find out what the old price is.

I ordered the cat-back for my 2001 S8 today. Ask the operator for "Johnathan".

Go to the thread that I posted today for more infomation:

Lastly, although the following is for the S4 or A6 4.2, Vast Industries "piggie" downpipe is well respected and a company to keep in mind for the future.

Good luck.

picked up a labree hfc with a non-fouler on the back O2 bung, noticed some gains, no CEL... I'd definitely buy labree again.

I've heard the labree to be the best bang for your buck.

Its something like 250 and it takes like an hour to install

What can you do differently than purchasing it from the site? I'm looking to get an 034 HFC.
