1998 audi a4 avant wagon v6 5 speed

I've had this wagon for about 6 months, it's pretty great. I do have to say though, I hate the rear portion of the center console. I need some real cup holders! Well, I found this:

The website claims it will fit my car with a slight realignment of the park break handle. I'm okay with that.

Has anyone installed one of these successfully? How was the fit?

Or, should I go another route to get real cup holders? Are there interchangeable center console out there that would be cheaper and accomplish the same goal?

So, I'm new to VW/Audi and I'm still figuring this stuff out. is this the same thing? it's $50 less on Ebay...also, what's the square hole next to the park break slot for?
