Is there such a thing as Audi certified window glass ?

One dealership says yes, another says no.

Vandals smashed my passenger front door window glass.

Does it matter who I go to ? Should I take it to the dealer ?

I don't think so, however you can ask whoever you getting your auto glass about OE glass, but it might be recycled/junk yard. Will get mines replaced for about 200 bucks.....

 

audi uses pilkington automotive glass as their OE glass. at least on my 2000 a4 thats what it is

 

Yes there is Audi Certified Glass............ its has the Audi logo on it.

for a side window it doesn't matter if you have it replaced aftermarket. but windshields have the rain / light sensor built into it.
