Default Problem with seatbelt

Okay, I just brought home a '94 Audi 100 wagon. I folded the left rear seat down to vacuum. I can't get the seat to fold back because the seat belt is locked, it won't retract. I've tried feeding in as much as I can, I've tried raising it slowly and quickly, but the seatbelt is just stuck. Please help!

Do you have any idea what they would do to it? I would really prefer to do it myself, and I certainly wouldn't want to take it to a mechanic every time I fold the seats down.

Never mind, I fixed it. If anyone else has this problem (it's not unheard of in wagons), I got the retractor to start working by unbolting the bottom end of the seatbelt. I had to unscrew and remove the bottom cushion of the back seat to get to it. Once it was unbolted, I folded the seat back up and fed in the seatbelt, and it unlocked.
