Hello, I recently bought a 2001 Audi TT 6 speed 225HP. I bought is knowing both windows didn't work so I was prepared to do some digging into them. Here is what I have got so far; 1) There is power at the motors at the red/green and the black when the key is turned 2) There is no power at either switch (I assume there should be though?) but the switch tests fine with a continuity test. 3) All the fuses and relays are good including the thermal fuse 4) I have pulled the ccm and inspected it and it doesn't seem to have any corrosion or dry solders. I have the wire diagram and saw that several wires ran through here so thought it would be good to check it. 5) I do not know if the motors are good because I don't know how to test them, can they be tested outside the car or anything? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, man. Ive been pointed in your direction for help so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I have a 99 a4 quattro 1.8t AEB and for the past few weeks its been super slow to accelerate. I dont have any codes and the issue is across all cylinders. I'm almost at my wits end with it and the only ideas i have left are a fuel delivery issue or a throttle position issue. I dont know how to go about diagnosing so any help is great!

Hey,
Driving an A3 1.8 '96.

It's getting cold outside (below freezing), and i've got quite a lot of thickish white smoke coming out the exhaust on cold starts in the morning.
It'll start coming after about a minute of idling, and then go away after a few minutes of driving.
Smoke doesn't smell sweet like coolant, and my hand gets a bit wet when i hold it over the tailpipe. So it seems like water, but it also seems a bit more dense and lingering than normal water evaporating....

So idk if my head gasket had blown. I would assume if there was a constant leak then there would be constant white smoke...
I am loosing a bit of coolant though, from what i can tell it doesn't leak at standstill, only when driving.

Any thoughts???

hello i have a4 1.8t 2009 petrol
first :there manifold error and they told me the sensor is ok and the problem was the gates is heavy
second:after short while epc lamps flashes momentarily when i move and when i scanned the car only the manifold error and there is a sound from the engine accompanied the epc when i start to hit the gas but after rpm over 2 i cant hear it only when i release and hit and i feel the car is shocked

Hello. New member here. I have a problem with a 2013 A4 Quattro. Every most of the time a person sits in the passenger seat the air bag light off light is lit up..? The 3 trips to the dealer and still not working. The already replaced the bladder and the reset the codes or something. They are saying they have no idea and need to contact Audi for help..

I got an overheating problem on a 2005 A4 1.8T that I can't resolve. Car overheats gradually passed normal mark once I accelerate. If I come to a stop or stop accelerating the temperature starts to return to normal. It doesn't normal up, but it definetely cools down. We've changed out the thermostat because the old one didn't open up all the way. We've verified that the water pump is in good condition. We disconnected the small hose going to the resevoir and have good flow. We found the timing belt was on very loose and changed out the tensioner. (Glad we caught that). There are no codes being given. What do you think?
