Just purchased a 2006 Cabriolet 1.8 with only 40,000 miles on it. I pulled the CarFax and it shows no problems, but no dealer service records either (was serviced at Jack Daniels Audi in Paramus NJ). Will my local Audi dealer (Audi of Huntington, NY) be able to pull the records? No issues, so far, except for an occasional intermittant in the SAT antenna cables.

A lot of controversy on the correct oil for this car. Is Mobil 1 5W-40 the right choice?

Hello everyone, I just purchased a 99 A4 1.8T 155k miles love the ride. I will more than likely looking for tips and tricks to keep it running in tip top shape. This is my first Audi and the reason on purchasing(gas Prices), but also always wanted to own one. This gave me a good excuse to the wife on purchase. Also will be looking at the bad and ugly and great sides of ownership.

i love it. it goes above and beyond anything i have ever driven
its completely stock but i already speculated cost and parts for my build in the first two weeks lol

 

thanks! Yea thats where the guy i bought it from got it a few years back. What i liked is that he had receipts for all the maintenance/oil changes/tires etc. Love her!

 

Just purchased my first Audi and diesel vehicle today, a NEW 2013 Q7 Premium plus TDI with 20" wheels & cold pkg. I''m from Northern CA and I think I got a good deal on it. Haven't really played with it yet, will have to read the manual...=)
