Hi I'm brand new to this site and I guess my last option.
I own a 2009 a4 avant s-line, it has the Audi concert system installed with the steering wheel controls, everything has worked fine till some weeks ago when whilst driving and listening to a cd, the unit seemed to stop, there was no longer any sound and the disc had just stopped playing, I ejected the disc to see if it was faulty or scratched etc which it wasn't and then put it back in to continuing playing it, this is where the problem is, the unit keeps saying that the external aux is active and also the disc is showing as unreadable if you go further into the settings, thing is I haven't actually touched anything, well I didn't think so as I was just driving and listening to the cd, I have been to my local Audi garage who couldn't work it out but insisted on me booking it in (at a cost obviously) for them to find the problem, I've also googled loads of sites but found nothing so I'm hoping there is somewhere here that maybe able to help me out here?
I have also tried to factory reset the system by pushing certain buttons etc and waiting till the unit goes green or something like that, thing is my unit doesn't seem to be able to do that either!
Someone please help me as I'm going out of my mind not being able to listen to my cd's!

Hello everyone. Purchased my silver 99 b5 quattro last summer for $500 and trailered it home. The internal wastegate was DOA and sounded like a tambourine whenever I stopped in traffic. I drove it for a few months like that until I had about 130-150psi on all 4 cylinders then the turbo came loose from the exhaust manifold and the engine began knocking. I have the car tore down in my shop and I am currently piecing together a BT set-up and stripping down the AEB code engine for a new rotating assembly and hoping to have my 4 ringed silver love back on the road this summer. I have built a foxbody GT an IDI turbo diesel pickup and a 71 grande mustang tinkered with a 73 vdub super beetle and tractors but this is my first german turbo car.
