Well, I've only gone and done it.....

I've been looking for a new car to get me to work in the bad weather.. currently driving a Lexus GS300SE Navigator/Levinson.. superb luxury car.. but just sits there doing doughnuts at the first sign of a snowflake..

so, as I've been spoilt, the choices had to be something with luxury, auto box, FWD/4WD and a bit more economical would be a bonus..

4x4... too big, so looked at 4WD cars.. Volvo XC70, X-Type.. etc
Then thought of the daddy of 4WD, Audi Quattro..

Really liked the new shape Allroad, but couldn't find one reasonably priced, with decent miles locally. so looked at the A6 Avant.. again, couldn't find one with enough spec or price/miles.

So, looked at saloons, and found one which ticked all the boxes.. pick it up next Friday.. 2007 SE 2.7TDI quattro.

Hopefully, I've made a good choice.. sure enough I've been doing lots of research over the last month, so I'm sure I won't be disappointed.

I'm sure you will find the Quattro system more than up to the task of handling whatever your winter decides to throw at you (with the proper tyres)
