2005 s4 rear ended.... engine makes noises
2005 s4, 151xxx miles, and automatic. I was recently rear ended at a stop light. Once rear ended i had to pull up the e-brake so that i wouldnt hit the car in the front. I was pushed at least 5 to 10 ft. The only psychical damaged i seen was the back bumper. I was driven to the hospital while my husband came to my rescue and talked with the police and took the car home. While taking the car home, he noticed that the car makes a ticking nosie and the alignment is off. It was a hit and run, so i can't go through his insurance so i have to deal with mine plus my lawyer. My insurance is telling me that the car engine nosie or the alignment has nothing to with the accident. About a month before the accident is when we bought the car, fixed the axle driver side and a/c. We had taken it to 2 mechanics and couple of our friends test drove the car and they remember that the s4 made no noise or my alignment was bad. The s4 has a high milage and we fixed the problem it had when we bought the car a month ago. I need other people opinion about this situation because my insurance basically dont want to pay for it and my mechanics can vouch for the noise but wont say because of the accident. My lawyer told me to take it to another mechanics to see if it is the problem from the accident. Please help! Thank you in advance.
