I noticed the 2012 Q7 (32000) miles, was burning aprox. 2 quarts of oil every 8500 miles. I notified the dealer they made modifications that inclued lowering the crank case pressure and a secondary air system cleaning and oil consumption test. Soon after this service the engine starting making a loud heavy rattling noise when restarted warm. I returned the car to the dealer who informed me Audi told them to change the oil again and the problem would be fixed. No luck, noise still there. Returned to dealer, now Audi told them replace upper cam adjusters, they did. The noise is still there. Audi now is telling dealer to remove engine from the car and replace lower cam adjusters.

The noise was not present until the secondary air system cleaning and crank case pressure modification was made.
