Default A4 Headlamp replacement

I just replaced two headlamps in my A4. The dealer told me that all you need to do is remove the two bolts holding he headlamp assembly in place an pull it forward to gain access to the back of the lamp housing. I did this, but no way could I get the assembly to move forward more than a fraction of an inch. Any idea what the secret is or what I am missing?

There is another bolt down further in the back. You can see a hole in the metal support that you need to stick a socket with an extension down into to reach. It's hard to explain in words but good luck. Welcome to the forums.
