Unhappy airbag light

hi everyone, i am new to this forum, my name is pete and i am from rochdale uk.
my airbag light came on after i moved my seat forward , i have checked it is plugged in ok under my seat. i got told to remove the battery for 1/2 hour. after doing this the light is still on , any help would be ace , many thanks
p.s. audi a4 2.0 se 140 2005 year thanks again

Default airbag

I too have an airbag light on. did you resolve yours ?

Get the car scanned with a scanner that can read air bag codes, and find out what the complaint is. The light being on means that the air bags are either no longer functioning or old enough requiring a replacement.
