Hi first time posting and I'm definitely not a mechanic so please help.
I've owned a 62 plate Q5 2L Quattro for a year and a half and it's done just over 41k miles.
I don't have issues getting the car into gear, no juddering or popping out but when in a gear the white numbers (not green suggested gear numbers) on the dash randomly change meaning I loose power. The car either sorts itself out or I have to pull over and switch the car off and back on again.
It's currently in the dealership and been told the clutch is slipping therefore I need a new clutch and dual master flywheel (I think that's right).
I feel like they're telling me lies - has anyone else had this issue?
