Default First Audi and have questions

Great site!! We meaning my wife and I purchassed a 03 A6 Audi avant quattro 3.0. Wonderful car, never thought we would get in something like this, allway's been in to Subaru's. My first question is... We only got 1 key from the dealership we bought the car at, do I have to go to an Audi dealership to get another key? Second question.. It is a quattro, does this mean it is AWD or traction control or FWD? Thanks for all the help, I can fix my truck, but an Audi is a totally different breed!!!

Congrats on the new purchase. Quattro is Audi's wonderful AWD system, you can research it a bit if you're interested and there is some great racing heritage to go along with it.

As for the keys, even when I bought my '99 I got 2 remotes with it so i'd go back to the dealer.

Thanks for the help, I called the dealer they said it was a trade in and only had one key. Guess I will call the Audi dealer in the morning on Monday.

welcome. you can get key blanks off ebay and then have any key guy cut them and there is a way to encode the keys yourself. its more work than going to the dealership but it'll be cheaper. and quattro means AWD http://www.guba.com/watch/3000009649...mium=0&o=4watch that vid if you want some history on quattro
