Hey guys, I bent one of my rims the other day and found a nice pair of new ones. The problem is thatthe rims on my car now are aftermarket17's and the new one's areOEM 15's. I'm not too familiar with wheels, so I'm wondering if I get these 15's, will I have to do anything with my brakes or timing belt? I'm pretty sure that the brakes and everything are still stock. Any help is greatly appreaciated!

 

Your timing belt will have absolutely nothing to do with your wheel choice. The only consideration you have is offset and bolt pattern. Seeing as how the 15s are OEM wheels, these are likely to be OK although if you have a 96-01 model year, some of the later year wheels may require a spacer (I don't think that's a worry here, since I don't think 15s were offered later than the quoted years). Still, double-check to be sure. Most likely you have stock brakes, so you shouldn't have to worry about clearing the caliper. Best bet is to go to the person selling them (if possible) and bolt up a wheel on the front of your car - if it clears, try it on the back. If it clears there, you're likely home-free.
