Just though i would update i have found the problem.

The cause was under the ECU there is loom plugs one being for the fly throttle that had got water in it and the pins had corroded slightly i cleaned them up and coated them to protect against water ingress all sorted thought i would post the way i mended it as it may help someone in the future

Cheers
Marty

Willkommen to the forums

thanks for posting the solution to your problem. Water infiltration is definitely a bad thing. for future questions, or when searching for answers to issues, it is helpful to post in the appropriate sub-forum. There is not a whole lot of traffic here in the "New Member Welcome Area". You are more likely to have your question seen by a guru if you post elsewhere.

anywho, glad you are sorted. good luck with the car
