Howdy,

Figured since I've been prowling on the forums for a few weeks i'd finally introduce myself.

Name is Chris, just picked up a 96 A4 Quattro already having good times with this car. When i bought it the heater core was shot so ordered a new one. Let me tell you what a PITA it was to change that. after-wards i notice it didn't have the nice pink Gl12 i keep reading about to i took her to the VW dealership to get the system flushed and the bubble gum coolant installed. Of course now i get home tonight and my climate control lights go out. Looks like i'll be in the market for a new climate control unit. I pulled it apart and it looks like its been messed with before. (clips broken etc) i was hoping to find a burnt out bulb. Oh well. Besides the problems I've had early on the benefits have far outweighed it! These cars have AMAZING handling. Of course im used to driving my GTO so it has no where near the power with the 2.7. But beggars cant be choosers. I'll get off my soap box now, and maybe go post in the WTB for the Climate control unit.
