Just bought a 2002 A4 3.0...
...and wanted to say hello!
I love the car so far. I changed from a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix and can't believe the difference in quality.
A few questions for people more familiar with the car...
What would be a quick upgrade that I could right off the bat (K&N, etc)...
Does anyone know of an ipod kit that works with the Bose sound system? I found one on crutchfield that plugs into the back of the deck where the cd changer goes, but will that make me lose the functionality of my in-dash 6-cd changer?
And, does anyone have any links with sites with good information or web sites that specialize in selling Audi aftermarket accessories?
Thanks for your help!

Welcome to the Forums, congrats on the new purchase. You can check out the Audi Links for your aftermarket parts. I'm not sure about the Ipod question, but surely there are members on the Forums that can answer that for you. There aren't many mods for our N/A cars, but the K & N filter would be nice for starters, if ya looking at exhaust systems, there are some pretty nice systems out there..Borla, Milltek, Thermal R&D, and Neuspeed just to name a few. An ECU upgrade would remove your limiter and net a few more ponies. Anyway, enjoy that ride!

No clue on the ipod.
K&N yes, audi makes a very free flowing air box. CAI (cold air intakes) do not show much improvement in audi cars. K&N with a modded air box will suffice for the same thing hit the DIY look for a Audiboy's airbox diy.
Apr Snub to ease the shifting. Solidifies things up a bit.
Catback mill tek, apr, remus, ect ect ect. Becarefull you don't want to go to large and loose your lowend power.
No turbo's really there are a few standalone custom turbo set ups out there. One 2.8 passat twin turbo and one TVA twin turbo 3.0 tons of horse power, tons of money.
Superchargers, there are two kits. One eaton roots by PES called the G3 around 5500 usd. And one twinscrew by MTM around 14000 usd. They both put out about 320 chp but the mtm puts out more torque.
