Hey all, new to the forum and am looking to pickup a A4 in the near future.

I don't know a great deal about them, and am trying to learn the differences between model years.

I wanted to ask everyone if there were any BIG improvements a certain year that would cause you not to buy anything older. I'm looking to get at least an 02, and probably no newer than an 05...but who knows.

I don't know about "big improvements", but I would get a 99.5- 2001. Even a 98.5 + would be nice (lower bhp and some cosmetic differences than 99.5-2001)
