Hi! New to the forums but I've had my dark blue (wish I knew the actual name!!!!) 2001 A4 1.8T for almost 9 months. Finally at a point where I want to start modding..but I know diddly squat so Ill be lookin for info for a while first

I actually kinda researched before I joined and read about the chip for the 1.8...Im going to start doing more research tonite

Eventually I want to start doing the work on the car myself...but i dont know enough yet >.<

My car is not quattro..I wish tho!

It's tiptronic (auto/manual)

So far Im not sure What I want to mod... as soon as I figure out some ideas Ill be posting to get everyones opinion

Hi! I just got a 1999 A6 Avant Quattro. The A4 was my first choice, but I found this A6 in great condition and decided I'd looked at enough A4s with water damage, StopLeak in the coolant, etc. and bought it. I had the VW equivalent (Passat Wagon) and looooved it till I was rear-ended by an SUV.

I think you'll love your A4 too.
