Hi there newbie Audi A8 owner here.

Just recently purchased a 97 A8 4.2 Quattro

I'm a Honda nut at heart and also own an 88 CRX with 360whp. I have built several 600+ whp honda engines, but do not have too much VAG knowledge. I hope to read up here on the forums and learn as much as I can.

My A8 is the dark blue color (not sure what the official name is, but I'm sure someone can chime in on that), it has the light grey leather interior. It has some factory 18's on it, although I'm unsure if it came with them or if they were installed at a later date. It does have a matching full size spare in the trunk with what looks like an oem Continental tire on it. Other than that, it is all stock for now.

welcome, I really like that blue on your car, but I'm not sure what it's called. An A8 is a big step up from any honda IMO. I mean it's the ballerest of all Audis and not to bash honda but they really don't have anything that compares to it (unless we are counting Acura)

 

Yeah I had an Acura TL before this, I like the Audi much better. This couldn't be much more different from my CRX, but it's nice to have both.
