Im Nick based down south.

Been offered a 1998 1.6 A3 155k for £900 does this sound like a good deal ?

im not really sure how prices are down south but i live in the northeast and i have just bought the A4 1.9 tdi (red I the 115bhp) on a 1998 R reg with 140k on the clock for £400 so i would maybe say it is a little over priced for an A3

 

I did a quick look with Kelly's blue book and it seemed like the price was in the right area, Only thing that concerns me is the High Mileage, I know that VAG engines are normally stong as an ox - Interested to know if anyone knows of anything I should be looking for on the 1.6
