New owner of 2012 A6 3.0T Prestige
Have admired Audi for a looooong time... Went from my parents volvos to my own 2000 GS400 which I still think is the best looking luxury sport sedan of that year +-3 years. A deer totaled that car and after settling on a hyundai and then a crown vic (puke) i bought my first audi.
The landlord of my job's office had an A6parked right by the door and i drooled walking past it every day into the office for years. Other audi A6's on the road never looked the same...i eventually emailed them asking what was special about theirs, and its a 2012 A6 3.0 TFSI Quattro, with the prestige package (which gives it the S-line exterior which made it look so different), B&O advanced sound, innovation package, 20" sport package and cold weather package. the rims make a huge dif.
the HUD, adaptive cruise control and night vision camera blow my mind. I drove all the way down from MA to VA and barely used my brakes with the adaptive cruise control.
Most cars of this age had about 40k miles and sold for around $35k. This car had 125k miles due to daily long drives, and i got it for around 1/2 the price tag. I feel blessed to have acquired such a technological marvel for so little
Not sure how much i will mod. I mainly want to get the entertainment system upgraded to have waze on it.
