I just traded in jetta GLI to Autobarn in Mt. prospect, IL due to blowing out 2 tires (one damaged rim) and stuck 3 times in snow w/ the summer tires. Traded to 2002 A4 Quattro for performance in Snow...shocked to find that dealer who knew of my problems and reason for trading sold me A4 w/ Dunlop Sport 9090 Summer tires...had mechanic look at it who knew of my concerns and he didn't pick it up either. I'm not very tire savvy. Very disappointing...will these tires cause me difficulty in snow? Seems strange to put summer tires on Quattro!!!??? Especially in Chicago!

2nd question: back rear seats squeal when going over bumps....Autobarn had Schaumburg Audi look at it but they didn't fix. Has anyone had this problem. Lastly, revs are up around 4000 RPM at upper highway speeds...is this normal...this is the highest of any car I've ever driven. Other than those, the car is real nice with premium Bose Audio and solid feel...appreciated as i'm a big music lover.
