just got a used 99 a4 1.8t after 7 years of driving 2wd suvs, and all i have to say is audi have to me the most well engineerd cars iv ever come across. I will prob be on the forums often as this a4 will soon have some S under the hood. look forward to talking with all of you. peace out

Welcome, what do you plan on doing to it?

 

for now just minor stuff, wheels, suspension and brakes, then in about a year im planning to swap in an s4 motor and begin my engine stuff from there

 

welcome to the forums man, the swap is a lot of work and in most peoples oppinions isnt at all worth the money but good luck

 

yeah i know its alot of money, but my friend works at a shop where i can get all the parts wholsale, and most of my labor 50% off, and the fact that my current engine has 150,000 miles means im probably gonna need a new engine. who knows maybe i am in way over my head but im gonna try anyways
