Default Newbie Here

Hi I'm 15 and new to the forums. I will be turning 16 soon and that means i will be getting my permit here in MA. I am planning on getting a 1996-1999 A4 2.8 Turbo. I just have a few questions. I have searched many sites and I have still yet to find an average price on a 1996-1999 A4 2.8 Manual, what is the average price? And what do you think would be some other good first cars preferably Audi's? thanks for your help.

Hey ripon welcome to the forums. The 2.8 does not come in a turbo. Only the 1.8t is a turbo engine. The 1.8t was also only available after 1997 in the USA. The average price varies by region, so you need to check kbb or edmunds.

Then what do you think would be a better buy in the long run? 1.8 w/ turbo or 2.8 w/ a turbo later?

Depends what you want. Performance or reliability?

Now im looking into the 1.8 turbo, because i plan on doing mods to the car. I would like performance over reliability, what do you think. thanks.
