Well like it says I'm a brand spankin newbie. I have a ford taurus currently and have always loved audi's. I have been looking at several in my area and can't really decide between an A4 and an S4. I'm interested in knowing differences between the two and to know which one has more aftermarket mods?

It won't be a DD well maybe depending on how much I pay for it and depending if I trade in the tortoise. So I'm looking at making it a 11-12sec car..... How had would this be for each? Which specific model should I go after???

 

11 sec car!!! WHOA!! prepare to shell out loads of money!! and deff start out with an s4 if thats your goal..

I mean yeah I didn't mean to say 11sec. Prolly my total goal is like maybe 12 but prolly stick to 13sec. I'm normally a domestic guys so making a mustang or a camaro get in the 12's is like maybe 5k, depending on the year and motor.

Well right now the years are like 00-02.

yea ok... that is a beautiful looking car.. the one i was trying to get but my budget was a little less than that haha.. the only thing i dont like is the wood trim on the inside but wow great car if you can get your hands on that.

What is a B6? Yeah it's a noob question but unless its referring to the biturbo v6 I have no clue to what ur saying?

b6 is the 2001-2005 models... mines a b5 (1996-2001) theres also the b7... the newest from 2005-present..... bi turbo v6 would be the s4..

 

Im in Raleigh man, I go to charlotte every once in a while to the races or to see my friends at uncc...

 

I keep hearing from some of my friends that are honda enthusiasts (ricers) that audis are "project cars" and that they break down easily...

Is this just rumors or are there problems?
