got in my audi a4 earlier (2005 model) turned the ignition on.... nothing working on the dash apart from the handbrake light and airbag light. crank it, starts briefly then died. won't start, dash lights and gauges not functioning at all! now i know that if it starts then dies straight away it's usually an immobiliser issue, but why would the dash not work? long shot, but anyone had this before? i know there are a few people on here with a4's,
