Any ideas?

No spark, nothing is being sent to the engine or injectors... if I remember right.

Guy at body shop told me he thinks its the Ignition Module. Any ideas would help. I need to make decision by tomm morning.

If i tell him to get part and hes wrong that a waste of 275.00

Otherwise if hes right......


I got to tow car to audi 35$ der and back.

Have them run diagnostics test. $150.00 if they find out it is the part thats 275.00 i end up spending more money this way.

Controll module wont affect fuel
it has to be one or the other

 

Theres no spark

 

First check for power at you Coils with key on
If you have power then the problem is after
Check condition of your coils with an Ohm meter

 

I dont know much about ignition but I do know there is a recall on 96 through i believe 98 igntion switches in many A4's aroud my way. Mine is actually getting done tomorrow. Are you the original owner of the car?

Did you end up putting that cheap nasty taco in your car dude? Anyway, tell me, does the engine crank over or is it completely dead?

 

The engine does go.... just doesnt get the spark.

 

I love that car to much to just give up.
