From San Diego!

Got a couple quick questions for anyone that may be able to help with newbie stuff.

I currently own a 2006 Subaru WRX with some good mods to it. I have the STi turbo and supporting mods for the Cobb Tunning.

Im looking to buy an Audi 06+ A4 Quattro or 05+ A6 Quattro. I like the A6 better due to the options and luxury, plus the option to have a V8! But price is my main concern. Buying an 05-06 A6 is about my price range, but they all have about 80-130k miles on them and about 11-14k in price.

My questions:

1. Would it be better to focus on the A4 with lower miles to stay within budget?
2. Are the high mileage ones a no-go due to increased wear and tear and common replacement parts?
3. Should I stick with the V6 or V8 with the A6?
4. Anything I need to know before looking and buying any Audi's?

Id really appreciate any feedback or pointers in buying a used Audi A4 or A6.

Before I bought my WRX back in 2010 I didnt know much about the car, but once I began to learn more about it, the more I found my car had been used and abused. Im looking to do some homework before buying an Audi.

Its up to you what you really want more. A4 are cheaper, but if you really like the A6 then get one. Make sure you take a mechanic to check on the car before you buy so you know what you're getting yourself into. As long as you take care of the car, it should be fine.
