I am having troubles with my Audi a4 it is quattro awd and a 3.0 v6 four door. When i try to start it it wont start by itself i have to pump the gas pedal to make it start could you please figure out what might be wrong with it. Oh and it is a 2002 i have had it for over a year and this is the first time it has happened. Every time i feel it up with gas it starts by itself but when the gas is low it wont start by itself you have to pump the gas pedal. I have tried charging the battery and it will only start by itself barely so i don't know what is going on any suggestions will be helpful thanks.

second, it is probably better to post your question in the A4 section. There is not a lot of traffic here in the "New Member Welcome Area"

third, you problem is probably the fuel filter or fuel pump. or maybe the fuel line. (or a whole bunch of other things but I would start with those)
