Default thinking about buying an b5 a4

hello everyone, my names marvin and i am considering on buying an 1.8t a4 quattro. My question is what are a few things i should look out for when looking at one? What items do i need to keep an eye out for? Also how well do the interior electronics hold up, has anyone here had problems with their ac or heat controls? thanks in advance for all your comments.

I check out for millage, on Audi's the timing belt needs to be replaced every 75K or so or if it breaks you will destroy your head (we hav interference engines, go figure). Also the control arms tend to go on the b5 platform if I remember correctly. My 1996 A4 has all the electronics working currently except my lcig lighter which only recently went out and I just haven't looked into what the problem is yet

My A/C is still freezing cold and the controls work great and are still all visible.
