Vibration on idle
Just got a new 2.4 A4 V6 and done less than 2K miles in it.
I am concerned that engine seems to vibrate on idle like it has a misfire this continues up to about 1200 RPM.
It does not lump like a cylinder is out just sort of flutters and occasionally the revs drop ever so slightly.
Its not bad but my old straight 6 90,000 mile Jag is as smooth as glass in comparison.
My dealer has suggested that its because of emission controls and it is merely running lean.
Waddya reckon?
Also lots of tyre noise at low speeds from low profile tyres.
Have I just been spoilt or is this another issue to get them to lok at?
Thanks
SG
