Hi im currently looking @ buying an 1998 a3 turbo hatch ive got a few questions i would like answered before i buy one. Please note im looking to do up to be a rack car and show car.

1)Whats the max boost that motor can handel stock and are forged internals avaliable ?
2) Can the computer be replaced with full engine managment such as motec etc ?
3) changing intercooler and piping and exaust and blowoff valve will this effect the car?
4) how strong are the gear boxes ?
5) what sort of power atw can be acheived with these motors?
6) Any common problems ?
7) Are their any interchangable turbos off other cars that are bolt on and can run more boost ?
8) max size rims that will fit on the car ?
